Derrick's mind raced as he planned the burial, his heart heavy with grief. He wanted it to be simple, quiet, and dignified, just like his grandfather.

"I want it to be a small, private ceremony," Derrick told the funeral director, his voice firm but trembling. "Just family and close friends. No fanfare, no fuss. My grandfather wouldn't have wanted it any other way."

"Of course, Derrick," the funeral director replied softly. "We'll make sure it's a beautiful and intimate service. What about the burial site? Would you like to choose a specific location?"

"Yes," Derrick said, his eyes welling up with tears. "I want him to be buried in the family plot, next to my grandmother. He loved her so much, and I know he'd want to be with her again."

"Okay, I'll take care of it," the funeral director said, his voice filled with compassion. "We'll make sure everything is perfect for your grandfather's final resting place."

"Thank you," Derrick said, his voice cracking. "Thank you for understanding."
