Chapter 66.

The night finally came and Nathan and his wife, Doris, had settled in nicely on their seats. The restaurant which Nathan had chosen for their double date had been an exquisite one with lovely scenery, and an atmosphere well scented. Few people say scantily around as the area he had booked had been a VIP section.

"They're not here yet," Doris said as she turned to face her husband. Nathan had been sick. Or nearly sick.

She noticed his nightmares grow stronger and more horrific, and his anxiety and enthusiasm for things lessened. Wasn't all that real signs of depression?

"Nathan, are you alright?" She had to call twice before he turned to face her. His expression was that of a confused man.

"You said?" Nathan asked, his eyes never leaving hers. He knew he had flinched again. Doris had been telling him to take it easy at work, yet, he just couldn't. "Doris I, uh, I can explain--"

"Oh there they are." Said Doris the instant her eyes caught them enter.
