Chapter 67.

Doris and Nathan arrived home safely that night and even though Nathan had announced that he wanted to go to bed straight, she declined. She needed to speak to him about her encounter with that strange young lady. "We should talk." Ignoring her husband's complaints of tiredness, she held his hands and dragged him over to the living room, sitting him down.

Nathan knew he couldn't beat his wife, so he just listened. With a sigh, he questioned why she had urgently needed to speak with him.

"There was a woman who approached me. The same lady who spilled a drink on me." She said, and Nathan instantly recalled.

"Really? What did she say again? She had already apologized."

"Right? She did that on purpose to lure me into the ladies room."

"Okay, but why?"

"She claimed that she is your girlfriend or so. I think she knows who I am... Or at least that I was your wife."

Nathan frowned. "Girlfriend? Don't tell me it made sense to you."
