Make up gift

By the time Lance woke up the next day, he saw shreds of evidence regarding the damage he caused the previous night.

Shattered pieces of glass, blood, littered remnants of cocaine, spilled drinks. He blinked, pushing himself off the couch.

A small whimper escaped his lips, forcing him to grab his head. The migraine was more intense than that of a regular hangover.

Events from last night flashed across his mind. His body stiffened when the first he gave Roselia replayed in his mind.

He remembered beating, strangling, and slamming her against the wall. His eyes widened like saucers.

Without delay, he flew off the couch and dashed upstairs to change into something decent then he headed to her mother's place.

He wasn't sure where Roselia would be, but he hoped her mother would know if she wasn't home.

The glare on Mrs Harper's face when she opened the door, suggested Roselia was in or at least came to report him. He cursed himself for acting rashly.
