The intern

Elizabeth just finished her lunch break. She was informed about the new intern who was joining them. Whatever she was expecting wasn't the man she saw in there.

From behind she could tell he was leaning and well-built. The muscles were there as evidence. His hair was curly sand-coloured locks.

She wondered why she shut the door and he didn't even bother to look back to check who it was. She walked in front of him and literally lost her breath when a set of emerald orbs flickered to her.

He got up to, eager to greet her.

“Good afternoon, ma'am,” he greeted with a bow then looked up immediately.

“You're late. You were supposed to be here yesterday,” she stated, trying to ignore the fact that he was staring at her lips. There was no lust in his eyes so she let it slide.

“I apologize for that, ma'am. I know it doesn't make a good first impression but I couldn't make it yesterday.” He bowed.
