Everybody's eyes went wide as soon as they saw Curtis bowing, including Cecilia whose eyes were as round as saucers as she watched the extreme change in the attitude of Curtis. Was this fellow blinded, into not seeing the filth that stood in front of him,

‘One minute he was supposed to have Adam thrown out like the filthy thrash that he was, and the very next he's bowing to him?!’ Cecilia wondered to herself, as she struggled to make sense of the scenario before her,

At that moment, she felt she needed to say something to help Curtis from his misplaced respect, with her brows creased together, she exclaimed in a loud voice,

“Sir, are you sure you're not mistaken by bowing that to this man and calling him Master? I ask you to please take a good look at him, you are too noble to reduce yourself into bowing to him”

Curtis, whose ears were already filled with Cecilia and her unrequested inputs, began to seethe inwards, but kept his mouth shut, only clenching his fist tightly.
