CHAPTER ONE
Southeast Province Prison Adam Sanders stood in front of the prison clad in the last outfit he had worn to his former home. His back to the prison walls as he faced the outside world. 'Freedom at last' he sighed to himself as he embraced the feel of the sun and natural breeze on his skin. He hadn't felt that in a few years. The feeling was too good to be true, the feel of the breeze was like morning to his night. Looking up to the sky with pitiful eyes, Adam found tears streaming down his chin, unable to imagine that he had been released before his release date. No one knew he was coming back yet, and he preferred it that way. Three years ago, he had been wrongly incarcerated and thrown into prison after Williams B**e had him framed and imprisoned. "In your next life and world, you'd know not to drag with me. I'll see to your end and I'll finish you. Let me see how long it'll take you to get out. You'll rot in there all your miserable life" Those were the exact words Williams

"Young Master?""Yes Raul, it is me.""It's about time Sir, how are you doing? You're grandfat…" Before he could continue, Adam cut him short"There's no time for pleasantries now Raul. I need you to help me do a few things""Nice to hear from you Master, how can I be of service to you Sir?""I need you to meet me at my apartment, and also get a suitable change of clothing for me from any good store, you know my size. and please come around with a present suitable for a three-year-old child" Adam directed to his right-hand man and staff. "Got it, Sir, I'll be there ASAP" Raul speedily replied"Thank you, Raul, that'll be all for now" Without awaiting his response, Adam ended the call, stretching the phone back to the driver, he handed it back to him"Thank you for letting me use your phone" he thanked the driver. The driver on the other hand didn't know how to respond. From the snippet of conversation he heard, it would seem his passenger was some big shot or some criminal who was tr

Adam couldn't help but wonder what was going on, and left him confused and worried, realising he wasn't going to get any other information from the landlord, he headed back out to meet the taxi driver. He met the taxi guy, tapping his steering wheels in anticipation of his return. Without hesitation, Adam opened the back door and slid in, realising he needed to make another call, he silently asked the driver for his phone once again, "Hey Mister, please I'd like to use your phone again" The driver stared on confusingly, and he could feel him getting agitated on hearing the request, the driver turned to look back at him, his eyes filled with irritation. "Are you trying to play me or something Sir!? If you don't have any money to pay me better let me know! Scrap that! Pay me my money! I've driven you around town, you've wasted my day for nothing. I could have more trips with the time I've taken you round and now you want my phone!?" the driver angrily retorted. Adam tried to hide his

"You!?" Madame Cecil was shocked to see Adam, especially right on their ground, she hurriedly hid and replaced the shock, and with eyes filled with contempt, she glared at Adam, her voice was laced with malice and hatred as she continually glared at Adam, wishing him into oblivion "What are you doing here, and how did you get this place, you bloody riff-raff!? Who let you in!?" she glanced at the security who had his hands raised"I haven't let him in Ma'am, I was just about to kick him out before your arrival Madam." the security swiftly defended himself as he also glared at Adam. Adam on the other hand couldn't believe his eyes, he didn't think his mother-in-law would be the one to greet him. He was well aware that she hated his guts and always felt like Louisa could have chosen better as she was a beauty. He knew she didn't see him as fit or worthy to be referred to as her son-in-law. In all of the confusion, Adam had yet to speak nor defend himself "See as he stares like the l

You clearly are a fool. They say looks can be deceiving, but I fail to notice what in god's name must have had you deceived with this tattered and unkempt looking fool. Surely Sir, you are indeed a fool."The taxi driver had yet to free Adam from his tight grasp, he felt utterly berated by the older lady but couldn't counter her, as she was right. He felt like a fool and vowed to take out his anger on the miscreant he was currently holding. From the corner of his eyes, the taxi driver watched as a shiny white sedan pulled up on the driveway, and the drinker honked at the gate. The windows were tinted, so no one had yet to see the occupant of the classy ride. Cecil on seeing the car was giddy inside, another person who hated the very sight of Adam had arrived, and she was sure that he'd happily join in the goading and tormenting of Adam, she watched as the gates slid open automatically, the car was moving in until it suddenly stopped and parked by Adam and the taxi man. As the car d

In an instant, the growling and barking of dogs suddenly filled the air, Cecil found herself rejoicing as the dogs were also going to add to the total humiliation and destruction of Adam. "Finally!! I wonder what took the foolish security to round up those dogs." turning to face the direction of the barks, she declared at the top of her voice, to continuously draw in the attention of the growing crowd. "Whoa, the poor man is about to get bitten and chewed as dinner by those dogs, they do sound hungry""I'm going to be here to watch it all playdown. I'm not moving an inch from here" The crowd murmured amongst themselves, all in anticipation of what their eyes were about to feast on. Some of them couldn't wait to get home and relay the events of the day to their loved ones. The security guard finally appeared with another security man, both of them grappling to contain five leashed dogs who were struggling to be free of their leash. The dogs ranging from dobermans to pit bulls and a

Adam wasted no time in heading to the address, although a part of him wondered if he was being set up, due to how fast Logan had changed his mind and given him the location of Louisa. He found himself wishing Ariel would be with her, his arms ached to carry her and feel her. He walked briskly as he tried to locate the area. Thanks to Cecil and Logan he had no means of transportation anymore nor a way to contact Raul. Raul surely must have been searching for him, he hoped that against all odds, Raul would prove himself competent and find him.As Adam walked by the side of the road, he failed to notice a loose thorn in a shrub, seeking to devour its victim, at the last minute, he unfortunately noticed it just as the thorn tore through his trousers and into his flesh"Fuck! Bloody hell. Can this day get any worse" he profanely cursed at the thorn, while trying to soothe the throbbing pain that ran down his calf to his ankle. Ignoring the pain in his legs, Adam limped on slightly as bl

CHAPTER EIGHT
"I'm sorry Sir for disturbing the serenity of our establishment, but this poor and tattered-looking man thinks he can waltz in, with an air of arrogance into our restaurant and get away with it. Last I checked Sir, this is a reputable place for only the elites and he sure doesn't look nor dress like an elite to me Sir" Adam could feel the gaze of the man who he assumed to be the manager appraising him, he stole a glance at the man's face, the manager's expression was like that of someone who had sucked on an unripened lemon, his face was so sour. The manager neared him, standing at a mere 5"12, he tried to intimidate Adam, 'If only these people knew who he had become' Adam kept his thoughts to himself, there wasn't any need proving himself to these ones, they were hell-bent on judging this book by its covers. "Sir, you know that you cannot afford to buy a cheap meal for yourself, as such, you most definitely cannot afford to even buy a plate of our cheapest meal or even a glass o

Williams had never been this humiliated and embarrassed in his life, gritting his teeth he faced Adam and said in a slow poisonous voice, "You'll regret this, sending you to prison was child's play. When I'm done with you, you'd wish you never escaped from prison!" William's demeanour changed, his gaze taking an evil smirk, he signalled to his guards to beat up Adam without showing him mercy. Suddenly, six hefty men came out and advanced towards Adam and assembled before him to deal with him. They all charged towards him at the same time. Skilfully and deftly, Adam dodged their punches while he delivered lethal punches to their body, targeting the places that would immobilise them. In a flash, all six guards were flat on their faces, writhing in pain. Adam had managed to defeat all of them without being bruised at all. Everywhere became quiet, as everyone looked dazed, everybody was dumbfounded. Adam didn't have a scratch on him, yet six trained men were laying on the floor

CHAPTER TEN
Without awaiting his response, the distinguished man bowed down to the fellow he had just been about to drag, and he found himself confused. "Erhm, I'm certain there's a mixup somewhere, did you take a look at the man you're bowing to, and did you have a good look in the mirror at yourself before you stepped out?" a man from the crowd stepped forward while asking his question. The former ignored him as he focused on Adam. Adam had hoped for Raul to not create a scene with his excessive display of respect he had come to manage, he had tried to no avail to catch his eyes as he neared, in order to give him a signal. He surely didn't want Louisa to know that his status had changed for the better. As far as he was concerned, it was good riddance. Williams and Louisa stared at the scene in confusion and obvious security, it was obvious that this man was blind. Stepping forward, Williams touched the arm of the man, and immediately had it yanked off by one of his guards present. Williams s
