CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED-NINE
Markus immediately gulped subtly, wincing as he did. His gaze on Adam was alert, keeping strong eye contact before he nodded curtly at him, and in a steady voice, that was pitched low uttered,

“Bring it in my good friend"

He leered at Adam, and with his eyes still on Adam, he bent over and retrieved a dagger beneath the table he stood beside, straightening himself up, he thrust the dagger in Adam's direction, making Adam flinch back a little, at the reaction Markus smiled maniacally,

“Come any further, and you'll be dead meat. I'm no coward to beg you for my life! I own my life, nobody else owns it!"

With his feet planted in a wide stance, Markus focused his attention on Adam, trying to mirror Adam's movements. He knew he had to be swift and calculative to defeat Adam because Adam was like a wind you never saw coming.
