Following Mira’s instructions, Doctor Wisdom got to work, with everyone keeping their gaze on him with every concentration that they could muster, everyone except Adam who stood casually with his arms folded to his chest while his eyes darted between the doctor, the child and nothing in particular,Doctor Wisdom paused by the child’s birth and glanced at Mira then Madam Ruth,“Considering the severity of the situation, I will be performing a herbal ritual on her, that will stabilise her and hear her heart before a permanent situation is made”Madam Ruth nodded her head enthusiastically while Mira rolled her eyes, and snapped at him,“Do what you have to do! All I know is my child needs to be well, money is no problem! If it's herbs you need, then it's no problem! Leaving the Winston’s mansion, Adam placed a call to Vance to confirm their appointment with his contact concerning the herbs,“Vance? What's the update with your source, the one in Leed City?”He could hear Vance sigh over the phone, and he imagined the big burly bully creasing his forehead as he did,“It's a dead end”Vance replied over the phone, at his end, Vance had his fist and jaw clenched tightly; he had been looking forward to Adam meeting the lady, she would have served as a good rival for the saucy Amber, he tsked and rolled his eyes.
