CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED & SEVENTY-FOUR

At the shrill and fear in Mira’s voice, Adam quickly turned and saw the girl shaking and flailing on the bed with her eyes still closed,

“Dr Wren, don't just stand there! Do something! My granddaughter is dying!”

“What's wrong?! What did you do?!”

Both women threw questions at the doctor, who stood perplexed while biting his fingers and talking to himself, he couldn't understand why the girl was acting like that, he had done everything right by his book, and so he was left twisted and confused,

“I-I don't k-know, she's supposed to be awake” he managed to stutter out, and in a flash Mira dove at him, clutching his shirt and pounding his chest at the same time,

“How dare you?! You've made my daughter worse, and yet you say you don't know. I'll kill you!!!”

Mira roared as she continued banging on his chest, tears dripping down her face, Madam Ruth, exhaled deeply in an attempt to calm herself before turning to one of the guards,
