Doctor Wren’s hardened eyes rested on Adam, and he raised his eyebrows as he glared at him, before he questioned him,“Any problem young man, do you have anything to say? At the shrill and fear in Mira’s voice, Adam quickly turned and saw the girl shaking and flailing on the bed with her eyes still closed, “Dr Wren, don't just stand there! Do something! My granddaughter is dying!”“What's wrong?! What did you do?!”Both women threw questions at the doctor, who stood perplexed while biting his fingers and talking to himself, he couldn't understand why the girl was acting like that, he had done everything right by his book, and so he was left twisted and confused,“I-I don't k-know, she's supposed to be awake” he managed to stutter out, and in a flash Mira dove at him, clutching his shirt and pounding his chest at the same time,“How dare you?! Following Mira’s instructions, Doctor Wisdom got to work, with everyone keeping their gaze on him with every concentration that they could muster, everyone except Adam who stood casually with his arms folded to his chest while his eyes darted between the doctor, the child and nothing in particular,Doctor Wisdom paused by the child’s birth and glanced at Mira then Madam Ruth,“Considering the severity of the situation, I will be performing a herbal ritual on her, that will stabilise her and hear her heart before a permanent situation is made”Madam Ruth nodded her head enthusiastically while Mira rolled her eyes, and snapped at him,“Do what you have to do! All I know is my child needs to be well, money is no problem! If it's herbs you need, then it's no problem! I can arrange for the rarest of herbs in minutes!"Put your mind at ease, today your child will be made whole, I have confidence in my abilities, I ask that you do the same”Mira tsked and said nothing more, choosing to close

Madam Ruth sighed exasperatedly as she rolled her eyes, stomping her feet, she almost snapped Adam with her words but was interrupted by Doctor Wisdom, who with arching eyebrow faced Adam and demanded of him,“Young man, I don't know who you are, but I do know one thing, no one would be able to heal this child, and if anyone manages to do so, it'll be nothing short of a miracle and I'll eat my words, and gladly receive slaps”Subtly shaking his head, Adam chuckled and arched his brow as well, Dr. Wisdom was becoming cocky, and it was displeasing to see.Brendan was burning with rage as he stared at Adam before he snapped his head toward Madam Ruth,“Who's this fool and where was he uprooted from?! What makes you think you can question the authority and experience of an experienced doctor?!”‘So you'd rather choose to believe his report of death and wait for it?!’ Was the retort in Adam’s mind as he equally looked at Brendan, but he said nothing as he had also given the same diagnosis

The entire room was silent for a fraction before it erupted into different expressions of disbelief; mouths slackened, eyes widened, eyebrows were rubbed at and people were at a loss for words,“W-was t-that Geensis that just spoke?”Madam Ruth finally found her voice and spoke in a disbelieving voice, as she gaped at the scene before her, she didn't want to believe nor process the fact that her grandchild had been made well by the hands of the pauper, with unsteady feet, she walked towards the bed.Mira with tears rolling down her eyes gathered her child into her trembling arms, her whole body shook with relief as she enveloped her child,“This is unbelievable!”“I cannot believe my eyes!”Dr Wren and the other guard exclaimed, Dr Wren slightly lifted his head to gaze at Doctor Wisdom, who was still gaping and kept gulping, unable to say anything.
