The Return of Adam Sanders

CHAPTER THREE HUNDRED & EIGHTY-FOUR

Adam got out of his bed and walked into his bathroom to freshen up; He returned home very early in the morning whilst Ariel and Evelyn were still asleep. He had gone straight to his bedroom as he did not want to disturb their sleep.

He got out of the bathroom and headed for Ariel’s room, needing to check on her to see how she was doing. He went into her room without knocking, seeing the clock in her room and it was almost midday,

“I must have slept for so long.” He spoke aloud to himself as he walked towards her bed.

“Dad.” She called out excitedly, as she sighted her father,

“When did you get back?” She asked him curiously as she watched him sit on her bed gently.

“What are you up to?” He asked her, ignoring her previous question. He had noticed that she was so preoccupied with what she was doing that she did not come to hug him.

“Painting.” She simply responded as she continued to focus on the board that was in front of her.

“You are painting?”

Adam's eyes bulged, and he drew hi
