Stefan stayed silent for a little while before he finally asked his next question,

“And why are you going there? What's your plan?” staring at her to make sure she was not going to lie to him, he didn't want to leave any loose ends. Louisa sighed, and her lips began trembling,

“I have a baby, Stefan. My son is just a toddler,” she spoke through her tear-filled throat, as tears began to run down her face,

“I cannot afford to leave without seeing my baby; I would never forgive myself if I did that,” Louisa informed Stefan, almost whimpering to herself, she had replied in a low and sad tone, and Stefan gave her a curt nod.

He could try to understand her plight, besides, he wasn't one to deny a mother her son, it was a special bond they shared. He'd know because his mother was instrumental in him becoming a gangster and, unfortunately,y, had been killed while trying to save his life.

He felt a pang in his heart, and briefly shook his head. Stefan couldn't stand in the way of Lo
