Cecil's son counted the money, his face lighting up with a smile when he realised it was more than enough, but his joy was short-lived, as Cecil suddenly slapped him on the head from behind,

He turned around, his eyes blazing as he glared and demanded,

Cecil's eyes were cold and flat, shaking her head, she lashes at Logan with curled lips,

"Someone threw money at us, and you're picking it up like a beggar?"

Logan's face reddened, and he retorted with a snap,

Cecil raised her brow, then rolled her eyes, his rhetorical question was aggravating, and her next response was laced with venom while she narrowed her eyes at him,

"What did I do to deserve a loser like you? You're useless, just like your father!"

Logan's eyes narrowed, and his nostrils flared, his jaw clenched tightly before he stomped his foot,

"I'm not a loser!"
