CHAPTER THREE HUNDRED & THIRTEEN

Adam looked at her and thought about how much of an emotional wreck she was, she was already teary up for a story she had not even heard the tip of the iceberg and smiled at her,

He nodded his head and grabbed a glass containing water and gulped it down his throat. He took a deep breath and continued,

“Her mother sold her to child and drug traffickers.”

Adam said and once again he noticed the look on her face change from pity to anger instantly, she had become pissed at what Adam had just said.

“You mean, Louisa sold your baby to traffickers?” She asked him flaring up, almost flying out of her seat,

“Mm..hmm,” Adam said simply and nodded.

“How dare she?” She asked angrily.

“Where were you? Why did you let that happen?” She asked Adam and stared at him awaiting his answer, he was silent for a while, his eyes lost in thought,

“I was in jail.”

He started, and shook his head,

“I was framed and thrown into jail.” Adam went on, releasing a sigh,

“What the hell?” She blurted out, her mouth
