CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED & FIFTY-EIGHT

The man fell to his knees, and Adam bent to his eye level and twisted his hand while he was on his knee, struggling for balance.

He sent a flying kick to his groins and the fellow squealed like a mouse that was slammed, before slumping to the ground with a loud hiss. His hand and groin were throbbing and he winced,

The other men had their gazes lost at the sight of one of their own, crumbled on the ground in what seemed like a bent arm,

“Oi… you want to show us you have got some skills in fighting?” one of them jabbed at Adam.

Adam ignored him, and one of them took a hesitant step forward before speaking through gritted teeth,

“This was not about you but you have bought trouble that was meant for another on yourself.”

His words trailed off on a whim as another of his men paled and fainted at the sight of the twisted arm of their leader, his hand was mangled.

“Wake up Jake!,” his partner yelled, kicking the fainted one heavily to reawaken him.
