On getting to Charles’ house, she texted him that she was already at his house. In no time, she saw him through his gates, walking towards her.

She twitched her lips, and then looked away as she wasn’t interested in staring at him until he got to her.

“Welcome. It’s quite sunny. Are you sure you don’t want to come in?”

“Even if it is rainy, I would prefer to stand under the rain, than to go into your house.” She said, with clenched teeth.

“For someone who wants to see how her daughter is faring, you have some stubbornness in you.”

“If you don’t want to help me, I can just wait until the abductor sends a video to me, as well,” Kohler said, expressing how much she wasn’t interested in going into his home.

She didn’t want any of what happened, to repeat itself. He could go crazy at any moment, and this time, have his way.
