Quincy raised his eyebrows, wondering what Kohler meant by her parents being witnesses.

“What do you mean? Witnesses to what?” He asked, and Kohler allowed him to walk out.

“Witnesses to whatever happened here. I'm already processing our divorce, Quincy. My lawyer will be done with the papers in two to three days, and you will have to sign them.” She said, walking into the living room, and he followed her, not believing his ears.

“Kohler, I know you're mad, and I know you desperately want to be away from me, but you have to let us talk this out. We need to find common ground and understand each other. Let's solve this, please. We can find a way around this. You don't have to be so hasty in making decisions.” He said as she sat on the sofa, crossing her legs.

“Kohler.” He called when she refused to answer him.

“I've made up my mind, and I will not put my lawyer through all the stress of getting our divorce papers, only to tell him I don't need it. Where is it done that way?”
