On the other hand, Quincy was in his car, leaning his back against the back seat.

“We're almost there,” Scott informed him and Quincy let out a sigh.

His mind drifted back to when he was on a call with Mr. Daniel.

“I kind of have an event to attend by that time. Is there a way you can kindly make some time for me soon?” Quincy requested politely.

“I'm afraid I can't, Mr. Anderson. Well, I'm sure you'll be fine, with or without my information. Have a nice day.”

“Wait. Hold on, Mr. Daniel.” Quincy said, but heard the constant beeping of his phone which showed that Mr. Daniel had hung up.

“Shit!” He cursed sharply.

“What's going on, Quincy?” Lauren asked, looking concerned.

Quincy found it difficult to speak because anger filled his heart. It was annoying that the man didn't consider other people's feelings or whatever they were doing.

Somehow, he wished he hadn't come down to his car to check whose car had run into the wall that night.
