Sweet Revenge
The next day at REM Corp, whispers spread like wildfire. The atmosphere had changed. Victor, the patriarch of the Remingtons, and his son Marcus were in the midst of a discussion when Victor's secretary rushed into the room, her expression tense.

"Mr. Remington, Mr. Marcus," she stammered, "there's an emergency shareholders meeting called. It's happening right now."

Victor's brows furrowed in surprise. "Emergency meeting? Who authorized it without my knowledge?" he questioned, exchanging a bewildered glance with Marcus.

Marcus, equally taken aback, added, "This is absurd. No one should be calling a meeting without our approval. Let's get to the bottom of this."

Fuelled by a shared anger, Victor and Marcus stood up abruptly, heading towards the boardroom with determination etched on their faces.
