“You know very well who I am don’t you?”

Stephen’s words made the manager frown.

Seeing the manager conflicted, Stephen hiddenly smirked.

In truth, he was no longer as rich as he used to be.

His father lost a lot of money lately, but he was still a well-known and feared-figure locally.

The manager knew Stephen’s father, which was also why he didn’t think Stephen’s father was capable of having a diamond card.

But then again, the card might have been temporarily given to Stephen’s father by the real owner.

The manager briefly glanced at Denver who had already entered the correct password.

He wished he was able to see the account details, but because of the confidentiality, he was not capable of doing so.

It would take too long to get permission from the headquarters, but the problem before him needed to be resolved as fast as possible.

Because all the staff in the bank had stopped working due to this incident.

The other customers were also looking and probably even recording the incident in secret.

“Mr. Denver knows the password of the diamond card,” the manager openly stated. “If he stole it, how would he know the password?”

Stephen just grinned in return.

“That punk stole my entire purse. The password was also in the purse.”

The manager still looked hesitant.

“If you’re not going to make him hand over the card…” Stephen took his mobile out and smugly stated, “I’ll just call my men.”

He was planning on using his gang members to extract the password from Denver.

In response, the branch manager said he’d call the police.

Stephen continued to act arrogant.

“Do what you want,” he blurted.

He was confident in bribing the local authorities.

Stephen looked at Denver.

“Once my guys are here, they will beat you to a pulp, so just wait.”

Hearing those words, Diane wrapped her arm around Stephen’s arm.

Denver grimaced.

Diane never held his arm like that in public before.

She only did it in front of her dad, but now, she was holding Stephen’s arm in public.

Naturally, it hurt Denver’s soul.

“Denver, you should fall to Stephen’s feet and lick his boots!” Diane said aloud. “Then he might forgive you for stealing his card!”

Just then, a loud engine noise came from outside, startling everyone.

It was the noise of a bonafide sports car.

The manager quickly scuttled out to see who was causing such a blatant noise in front of the bank.

Many others followed him out, purely out of curiosity.

A thunder blue lamborghini aventador skidded and stopped near the entrance.

The manager as well as Denver simultaneously recognized the woman in the driver’s seat.

When Stephen saw the woman sitting in the car, his eyes were immediately filled with lust.

The dark-haired brunette looked so stunning and beautiful, she would easily pass for his dream girl.

He wanted to make her his woman!

“Aventador…”

Diane muttered under her breath, amazed by seeing a roofless car, a kind she had always dreamt to drive in one day.

“It’s gotta be worth over half a million.”

Her eyes eventually shifted to the brunette wearing goggles. Her red-lipstick went well with her shiny red dress. Her long dark hair resembled a silky waterfall.

While chewing gum, the brunette jumped out of the car instead of opening the door.

“Madam Sheryl…” the manager hurried over to greet her with a bright smile on his face.

But she pushed him aside and then went past Stephen, Diane, and Subrina and stopped in front of Denver.

She took her glasses off, revealing her dazzling green eyes.

There was a jungle glow in her eyes, which would naturally attract attention and positivity from others.

“I came here to talk with the manager about the diamond card, but I wasn’t expecting to see you here, Boss.”

She raised her hand and showed the seven-carat red rosy diamond ring on her left thumb.

Denver was surprised because it was his ring.

It was only after selling this ring for over a hundred thousand dollars, he was able to buy the house.

“That’s… H-How did it find it?”

“Just had our men search every store in the city,” she replied, taking out the ring and putting it on Denver’s finger, which widened Diane’s eyes.

“It seems the shopkeeper tricked you and bought it for a cheap price. This ring is worth millions.”

Diane’s eyes widened some more and popped out of her sockets.

After all, Diane had thrown her wedding ring in Denver’s face.

But now, a tall, rich woman who looked like a top model, put a ring on Denver’s finger in public.

This was quite hard for her to digest.

Subrina, on the other hand, couldn’t believe what she was hearing.

(That red diamond ring is worth millions? He always wore it, so I thought it was cheap!)

Her stomach turned sour.

As if all this wasn’t enough, Sheryl bent her head and kissed Denver’s hand, shocking many people that were there.

Gnashing her teeth, Diane immediately barked,

“Bitch, who the fuck are you? Did Denver hire you to pretend to be a rich woman by making entrance in a rented luxury car?”

Stephen, with his experience, felt like the chances of a stunner like Sheryl being a hooker was very low.

But he hoped that Diane’s words were true so he could have Sheryl for himself.

After all, if Sheryl was from a rich background, then how come he had never seen her before?

Still and all, he said, “I can give you a lot more than what he’s offered, so why don’t you come over to my side, cutie?”

Sheryl could hear them, but she didn’t even turn toward them.

Instead, she smiled at Denver.

“Boss, will you give me permission to dispose of this garbage?”

And she briefly looked at the manager.“You haven’t answered my question yet, bitch,” Diane blurted.“Where did you rent the car! How much Denver is paying you for this act?!”“Shut up,” the manager raised his voice, startling Diane and others. “Madam Sheryl helped me once in the past. She’s someone who can buy dozens of lamborghinis if she wants, and you bastards dare to badmouth her?!” He glared at them. “Security, chase these dogs out!”The security guard, wanting to redeem himself, immediately activated his baton and jumped at them like a gorilla. They had to run out of the bank’s premisesStephen showed some resistance, but the guard did not spare Stephen

"We’ll go to a doctor to get your head wound checked after that.”“Okay,” Denver stepped out of the car with effort because he was a big man. He didn’t think he’d enter this house again so soon. But because he knew that Diane was not in the house, he believed that this was the right time for him to take the items he wanted.“Denver, who broke the table lamp?” a voice reached his ears.He stopped and looked to his right.A slender but sinewy woman with pretty bangs was standing at the kitchen door, eating a fruit-nut pudding. It was Diane’s sister.“You are silent, so it was you who broke it, huh,” Catherine’s gaze turned a bit cold. “Yesterday, you bumped into a flower vase and broke it. Today, it’s a table lamp. Even after Denver lost memories, he got into some fights when they broke out during work. However, he never fought eight people.Naturally, he felt intimidated by the number of people that surrounded him. He may be the tallest guy among them, but he was still alone.Still and all, he spoke his mind, “Sheryl gave the bank card to me. If you want it, why don’t you ask her?”Stephen snickered. “Do you take me for a fool? Why would I ask her to get my card back?” He grabbed Denver’s shirt. “You are going to experience hell now for what you did at the bank. And then I’ll take this car and the green-eyed cutie, too.”Stephen tried to put his hand in Denver’s pocket, but Denver pushed Stephen back with both hands. It was such a strong push that Stephen was forced back five steps. In that process, Denver’s uniform buttons also came loose and fell, exposing his chest and part of his abs.“Beat him down!” Stephen yelled. All the eight men attacked Denver with their bare hands. I’m going to call the police and get him arrested!”“Cheater?” Catherine was startled. “What are you talking about?”“He cheated on me, which is why I canceled the wedding and picked this great man Stephen,” Diane blurted angrily, lying very easily as if it was a natural thing for her. “So, get away from that ungrateful bastard! Even after our father saved his life, he doesn’t have any gratitude toward us. "This is why you should never raise snakes, as they come and bite us in the back eventually!”Catherine was stunned to hear her sister’s words. She looked at Denver. “Is what she’s saying true?”Denver’s face had a hardened look.“Why aren’t you saying anything?” Catherine asked again. “That’s because he doesn’t have anything to say!” Diane growled. “That cheater must be kicked out of our lives. No, he must be put in jail, or he won’t let us live peacefully!” Sh

After Denver and Catherine left, Diane came to pick her mobile, and she found the ring box which Denver had thrown away. She opened the box and found the two pre-engagement rings, which were worth about 500 dollars each. She put the box in her pocket and then called for an ambulance, because Stephen was still unconscious. The brown rottweiler, Payne, came running toward her. Diane picked up a stick, causing the dog to run the other way.“This damn dog… why does it not like me but like Catherine and Denver?”“Catherine…” Just thinking about her sister made Diane’s blood boil. “How could you go with him? How could you do this to your family? "You are confident because you have a pool, but what if that pool gets destroyed? However, Catherine bought the car from them and had been using it.The car was well-maintained. More importantly, Denver could see the family photo in the front. Even Denver was present in the photo, and it made him feel a little emotional.Denver thought about what Catherine had said in the hospital.“Stephen Creamer is a dangerous guy. "Diane seems to think she can handle him, but she doesn’t know who she’s dealing with. "I’m afraid she and mom will be abused by him.”Thinking back on those words, Denver could only shake his head in frustration.“Diane and her mother don’t care about me,” He was looking at Richard’s face in the photo. “I don’t want anything to do with them, but…”A few minutes later.Denver arrived at the construction site, only to hear the supervisor cursing Jeremy for not completing the cement unloading on time.“You take twice as lo

I think we are giving up on a golden opportunity. If we force Denver and take him to the king, we’ll get a lot of credit for quelling an uprising.”“The problem is that he’s not instigating war or violence,” Philip replied.“But he’s taken this land for himself. I would like to talk privately with my brother here.”His words changed the expressions on the faces of Denver and Catherine.“I have already finished my mission,” Novick walked back without showing his back to them. “So, I’ll take my leave.” His voice faded away.Catherine was surprised that Novick was able to leave without many sounds with his footsteps, almost in the same way Philip arrived here.“This guy’s a monster, too…” she muttered under her breath and stood on alert.Denver was staring at Philip with a mixed emotion.
