Chapter 48 "The Crazy Siblings"

After Victoria left the house, John called Jurgen to his office.

When Jurgen went inside, he saw John and young Gaston’s picture on the table. Even though the father and son reunited, they aren’t close to each other.

Because if they do, then there’s no reason for John to call Jurgen.

“I called you because my son wouldn’t tell me a thing,” John said to his exclusive guard.

From the picture frame, Jurgen stared at his boss.

“All I know is that Chairman Harold adopted him. But Gaston didn’t tell me how he lived with the Solice. Since the two of you were together, I hope you can share me the details.”

With hands behind him, Jurgen answered his question.

“The Madam was telling the truth,” Jurgen said.

“Mrs. Victoria?”

“She did not want Gaston for her daughter. And so, she tormented Gaston with words to discourage him.”
