Chapter Eighty-eight:

Immediately the call connected, it was almost as though Captain Barnes was waiting for the call.

He was wearing his usual blue Pajamas and was all tucked in his bed.

Since the grand general had removed him as one of his trusted Captains after he had meddled unknowingly in the grand general's issue with Lord George Lucas and his son, Arnold Lucas, he hadn't been himself lately.

He had all of his operations now run by his loyalists.

Although the grand general hadn't publicly announced that he wasn't amongst his trusted allies anymore, Captain Barnes was still upset and disappointed by the whole turnout of events.

"Hello, what is it, Mr Eugene Allen?!"

"I thought we were over this!... don't call at certain hours of the day!"

Captain Barnes immediately yelled at Mr Eugene Allen who was still fidgeting before Max Xanderson.

The situation was intense and palpable as everyone stared at him as he made the call.

"Cap…Captain Barnes, it's really important."
