Chapter thirty-four:

Mrs Sophia Stevens immediately opened the door holding a kitchen knife behind her.

"Lady Megan Stevens!"

"What are you doing here at our house?!"

Mrs Sophia's voice was vehement and laced with a mixture of confusion and bewilderment.
