Chapter twenty-five

"What the hell!!!"

"This can't be happening?!"

"Isn't this the poor son-in-law of the Stevens?!"

The voices from the crowd rose above each other.

"Step aside, coming through!"

Lady Megan Stevens' voice was vehement as she and her granddaughters, Eunice and Denise Stevens raced through the crowd to get a better view of what was really happening.

"What the heck?!"

"Grandma this can't be happening."

"There is just no way this can be real."

"My eyes are definitely deceiving me."

Lady Megan Stevens, Eunice and Denise stared at Max Xanderson step out of the Limousine in his Armani Tuxedo.

His hair was perfectly styled, and his demeanour exuded confidence and authority.

"Max, the seemingly unremarkable son-in-law of the Stevens family is the grand general whose wedding everyone had gathered to witness."

"This is just so unbelievable."
