Chapter-33 Intruder
After Damien had taken a shower, they were ready to go. They all changed into clean clothes and walked out onto the porch. He turns behind him to see Lily following behind.

The night before was awkward and had been slightly traumatic. Damien was kind enough to sleep on the sofa to give Lily a bit of space for the night, yet even with his attempt to help her ease from her father's abusive efforts to take her away, she couldn't sleep throughout the night.

The sun was starting to set and the sky turning orange. A warm breeze brushes through their skin as their cars parked near the curb, waiting to take them to the hotel.

"Let's get going" Damien said, picking up his bag and opening it up to pull out his car keys and sunglasses.

"Wait" Lily called out, grabbing onto his arm, making him turn to her.

"I almost forgot to thank you" She says smiling at him.

"Thank me? For what?" Damien asks, raising a brow.

"For being there for me when I needed someone the most, without knowing I neede
