Mr Donal was silent and smiled faintly. "

Jason stood up straight and looked at the whole Clooney family, including Alexa who was hiding behind Sean's back.

His gaze turned sharp as Sean suddenly walked up to Jason and said in a whisper.

"Jason, you better get out of my engagement party, you're being very disruptive and making a mess of this party! Do you want the Clooney family to lose face in front of the guests?" She whispered warningly.

Jason smiled, "What are you afraid of, the Clooney family losing face in front of the guests and the investors? Are you afraid of becoming poor again and living like a beggar?"

"Don't you consider me part of the Clooney family? Wouldn't the successor to MOZA Enterprise be my father if he hadn't had an accident?" Jason stared intently at Sean in front of him. He wanted to be sure of Sean's answer when he revealed everything to his cousin.

"That's..." Sean gasped for a moment and then fell silent. He knew that what Jason had said was true.

If Mr Ernest Hilton hadn't had an accident that left him with a limp, he would have been the successor and CEO of MOZA Enterprise instead of Mr Donal Clooney, his father. He was only a temporary CEO who took over during Mr Ernest's illness.

However, after the news of the accident that left him missing and presumed dead, Mr Donal Clooney officially became the current CEO of MOZA Enterprise. There's nothing standing in his way.

The news of the accident spread quickly and became the centre of social media news. Little did Jason know that during his three days and nights of confinement in the room, Jason was unconscious and beaten until his life was slowly taken.

Knowing that Sean was silent, he was unable to look Jason in the face. He held all his anger in his hands. His face seemed to hold a hatred that was about to explode like an atom.

Jason then walked over to Sean and whispered, "Remember, your father was just an adopted boy picked up from an orphanage. You should realize that, Sean! Your attitude is so proud and arrogant. You don't deserve to be the successor of MOZA Enterprise!" Jason declared. His jaw was clenched and his gaze was fixed.

After saying that, Jason walked over to a table with some wine drinks. He picked up a glass and took a sip, just to quench the thirst that had stifled him during his several days of captivity.

Their attitude was so casual and nonchalant that Sean clenched his fists. He could not accept Jason's words that doubted his abilities. And assumed that his father was just a foster kid from an orphanage.

Sean wanted to deny it all. He turned quickly and walked towards Jason without hesitation. His fist was strong and real.

When Jason spoke to comment on the food he was eating, he spoke with a flat expression. "This food was good, but the taste turned out to be very bitter. Isn't that strange?" Jason spat after tasting some food.

Before Jason could turn his head to the side, Sean had thrown a hard punch at Jason from behind. "Pruk!"

The punch was so hard and real that Jason bounced off the side of the drinks on the table. Some of them fell to the floor and his glass shattered. Of course, this caused a commotion in the room. Some people looked at him questioningly.

"What's going on here? Why is there a fight?"

"It's a pity that the beggar man had to fall right on top of the glasses that were lined up there, it's all a mess!" Said some people who saw the fight.

Sean turned to the few people watching, even though they were talking about him, but Sean didn't care, he just wanted to teach Jason a lesson this time.

Without hesitation, Sean said disparagingly after hearing Jason's words, his anger quickly igniting. "This is my home, you don't speak presumptuously here next to me. Look at yourself! You even look like a starving beggar."

Sean approached Jason and raised his index finger in Jason's face.

"Say that again, Jason! I will definitely throw you out of this room." Sean was so angry that his anger showed. Although the Clooney family used to be a third class family, he is now the richest man in Niami Hill.

But Jason only smiled slightly and his face was indifferent. Seeing that Sean was getting worse, he grabbed Jason's shirt collar and lifted him up.

Before he could do anything to Jason, a voice stopped him.

"That's enough Sean! You're not doing this again!" Mr. Donal snapped angrily at his son's fighting. He was annoyed and embarrassed to be noticed by so many people.

"He's an ignorant beggar, Dad, he deserves it! Sean stood up straight and turned to his father who was walking toward him.

Mr. Donal then approached Jason, standing in front of Jason with an angry face. "How about it, is your business done here?"

Mr. Donal asked coldly.

Jason stood up and wiped the blood from his upper jaw. He looked up at his uncle, Mr. Donal Clooney, who was standing right in front of him.

Jason smiled wryly as he looked away from Mr. Donal. "Is that your real attitude Uncle? You look worse than I thought!"

It was then that Jason saw that Sean's father was not the fair and kind uncle he had known before.

The man let out a yell that echoed through the room. "Drag him out! Don't let him hang around here!" Donal's words were short but sharp.

Jason stared intently at the figure of Mr. Donal. The security guard immediately moved and took him out of the room, Jason did not resist at all, he continued to stare at Mr. Daniel until his eyes locked.

Jason realized that everything had changed since his father opened his heart to him as the successor of MOZA Enterprise. Since then, everything began to feel strange.

Jason suspects the Clooney family because they were the ones who benefited the most from the accident that killed his father. Still, Jason hasn't gotten the evidence that points to them as the perpetrators. He still has a long way to go to solve this mystery.

When the security guards dragged him away by force. Jason said what could be a warning to his uncle, Mr. Donal Clooney, while turning to him with a suspicious look.

"I'm going to expose all of Mr. D's crimes!" He said aloud to Mr. Donal's surprise.

"A what?" Mr. Donal was silent for a moment, he was surprised to hear Jason's words about Mister D. How did he know Mister D? He was so mysterious that only certain people knew about him.
