Pamela moved closer to Larry, and when she saw that Larry was almost out of breath as his eyes rolled backward, she gasped.

“Just let him go! There is no way he is going to confess with the way you are holding him! I beg you!” Pamela pleaded with a shaky voice, almost kneeling while she struggled with the fright that engulfed her.

“Fine! I will listen to you!” Liam agreed to do what Pamela said even though he felt so much anger each time he looked at her, he returned his gaze to Larry whose mouth was wide open, and then he sighed softly.

“Make sure you tell me what I want to hear or the next one will lead to your death!” Liam let go of Larry who fell to the ground at once, making a loud thud while he gasped for air, breathing frantically in an attempt to regain full consciousness.

“Larry? Are you okay? Can you hear me?” Pamela said anxiously while she moved toward Larry, knelt down beside him, and grabbed him by his shoulders.

Larry coughed severally, and when he saw Liam st

Larry was taken to the school clinic alongside Dan to have their injuries treated, and when they were attended to, they moved to the Dean’s office alongside Pamela who reluctantly followed them. Meanwhile, Liam was seated in the classroom with no one seated by his side. All the students in the classroom were listening to what the professor standing in front of the class was saying when one of the professors in charge of discipline walked into the room with a worrisome expression on her face. Seeing her was enough to cause a little tension in the minds of the students, especially those who had done one or two things that could get them punished. She was never a bearer of good news. Each time she came into a classroom, especially whenever she didn’t have any lectures with them, she always came to summon a student who may have defaulted in one way or the other. Without being told, Liam knew the reason why she was there, and he chuckled softly while some of the students who saw th

Liam had his eyes on Pamela from the moment she was asked to narrate what happened by Mrs. Evans. From the look on her face, he was certain that she was going to lie against him, but he wasn’t perturbed by that. “Go on, Miss Wilson. We are listening.” Henry said when Pamela had been silent for over five seconds. Everyone had their eyes on her, including Dan who couldn't say a word while he struggled with the pain all over his body. He seemed to have collected more beatings than Larry, and at that moment, he was thinking of quitting his friendship with Larry. Pamela lifted her face slowly to look at Liam, and as soon as she saw that he was already staring at her, she withdrew her face at once and bent her head to the ground. “Go on, Pamela. Everyone is waiting.” Larry whispered to her, gesturing with his hands in an attempt to urge her to tell them their own version of the story. “We were on our way to lectures this morning when we saw him standing in the parking lot…” Pamela b

Liam wasn’t surprised about the words he heard from the Dean, and he chose to remain calm even though he was annoyed by the fact that he requested for his phone. “Mr. Perkins? I am still waiting for you.” Henry said with a low tone, and then he moved closer to Liam who remained where he was without letting go of his smirk. “You want me to hand over my phone, Mr. Cassius?”“Yes, I need to make sure that the pictures are deleted. Your actions have defiled the privacy of these students, and I need to ensure that this doesn’t get out to the public.” “No, Mr. Cassius. I am not going to have my phone over to you. I can see clearly that you are not going to check the footage from the camera, that would have proven that I was defending myself.” “Mr. Perkins? We have decided to let go of that and settle this amicably.” Mrs. Evans said calmly, trying to get closer to Liam who took a step backward while looking at her with a smirk on his face. While the room was still silent, Liam looked at everyone in front of him one after the other, and seeing that they were very nervous, he nodded in satisfaction. “I told you, Larry. I told you that you were going to pay for everything you have done! I will make sure you do not get away from this one!” “Mr. Perkins? We can talk about this, it doesn’t have to end this way.” Henry said while he took two steps closer to Liam who shook his head to indicate that he wasn’t going to listen to him. “It’s already too late for that, Mr. Cassius. I hope you have a good explanation to give to the police by the time they arrive here. I am sure that…” Liam was forced to take a break when he heard the sound of the car that drove close to the building and parked very close to it. He took five steps to the window and looked down at once while everyone wondered why he did what he did. When he saw that it was the police, he nodded in satisfaction and returned his gaze to the Dean who was still v

William realized that the name Larry mentioned was very familiar, and he nodded with a smirk on his face. “I see…” He said calmly, while his eyes were still on the senior student who was arrogant even in the midst of the tension that was in the air. “You are Silas Prescott’s son, interesting. Your father has always enjoyed making people suffer because he feels he has all it takes to do so. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.” William looked at Larry with so much displeasure in his eyes. It also seemed as though William was not the only one who wasn’t pleased with Larry’s father as they frowned instantly, looking at him with so much anger in their eyes. “I hope your father will be willing to come down from his high horse to pay you a visit in prison by the time you are found guilty of what you have been accused of. Come on…” William grabbed Larry’s hand, and dragged him closer to himself. “What are you doing? You are not afraid of my father?” “Don’t make this harder

That afternoon at the school canteen, everyone was talking about the news about Larry and his friends’ arrest. A student who happened to have seen when the policemen were taking them away managed to take a picture which she uploaded to the school’s social media account, and everyone saw as Larry was disgraced out of the school premises. “Does this have anything to do with the death of Liam Robinson?”“I guess his father wasn't able to cover up for him this time.”“That served him right, Emma. He thinks that he can do whatever he wants and get away with it.” Even when they were enjoying their meals, the students were also occupied with gossiping about the the apprehension of Larry and his friends. Some of the students were sorry that Pamela was involved in the situation while others were of the opinion that she deserved what she got. “This is partly her fault. She left Liam for Larry, and now that he is dead, she should be able to face the consequences of her actions. Liam is

Liam looked at the hand of the team leader for a few seconds, but the senior student didn’t mind waiting for as long as it was going to take for Liam to shake him. “Emrys, Emrys Perkins,” Liam said when he eventually shook Jack who chuckled softly with so much excitement written all over his face. “I know who you are, Emrys. We all know who you are.” Jack said, and then he looked behind him, gesturing to his friends who nodded to affirm his words. “See? They all agree that you are very popular, Emrys.” Jack said while Liam withdrew his hand from the handshake slowly before he cleared his throat. “Well, I didn’t know that I was that popular. I have only been here for a few days.” “It doesn’t matter, Emrys. Let’s just cut to the chase…” Jack grabbed one of the chairs close to a table close to the table Liam and Noah were seated on. The growl came back again, accompanied by louder echoes that reverberated from several corners of the dungeon. They could hear the sound of chains rattling from some of the dungeons, but that was the least of their troubles. After almost an hour of driving on the road, they eventually arrived at their destination and alighted from the car before heading down the hill that led to the sea. The hill was located on the outskirts of the city, a place where anyone hardly came, and they could hear the sound of birds and crickets chirping from a distance, and owls hooting from the top of the trees where they nestled. Darkness was already upon them, and even though Maya was afraid that she could fall from the hill as they climbed down, the thought of Liam being close to her made her continue. “That’s the sea over there, Lord Emrys!” Mr. Gary pointed as soon as he saw the sea, still surging under the effects of the wind, cascading from one point to the other while the three of them moved to it, eager to accomplish their mission.Standing in front of the sea, Liam and Maya looked at Mr. Gary who was the only one who knew what next to do, but the look on his face showed that he was struggling with a strange fe

Liam left the Castle as soon as he was well-rested. That’s the one I told you about! Strange isn’t he? He walks silently, yet his strength is as noisy as the turbulence of the sea.” One of the old men who recognized Liam whispered to his friend who was not present at the tavern the previous night. Some of the other men in the tavern who recognized him cringed with a little tension, flashes of the memories from the previous night couldn’t leave their minds. They had always been afraid of the assailants who tried to take advantage of the fact that Mr. Gary was not around, and the fact that Liam single-handedly beat them to a pulp made them very wary of him. Some of them adjusted themselves quickly, hoping not to offend him for any reason. Even the stares from his orbs were enough to send jitters down their

An errand…” Reggie nodded to affirm his words while he continued to avoid eye contact with Liam who nodded slowly. “It’s fine,” Liam said with a low tone, and then he looked at the others who quickly withdrew their gazes from him at once, pretending to be talking about something else. “Yeah! He should be home now, probably with his mum. You should check his house.” “Alright. Waking up the next morning, Liam couldn’t stop thinking about his encounter with Maya and the little children who reminded him so much about himself. Growing up in the orphanage was too tough for him, and he had to struggle his way to be able to put himself in school, moving from one job to the other in order to make a living. He couldn’t have much for breakfast and even the Chauffeur noticed that he was unusually quiet throughout the ride from the castle down to Hilton’s college. “We are here, Lord Emrys,” Andy said calmly after turning to look at Liam who was still lost in thought. He had been staring at him through the rearview mirror, wondering what had kept him thinking for such a long time. “Thank you, Andy. He was the oldest among them and was obviously the leader. “I will be right back!” He ran off at once and returned a few seconds later with a plastic plate that contained two pieces of cupcakes. “We knew that you would be very exhausted and hungry by the time you get back, and we decided to make this for you.” He handed the plate over to Maya who laughed pleasantly. “Oh, Dave!
