Liam waited for a few seconds, but Brina refused to say anything while he continued scouring the entire corners of the library, looking at the books and the scrolls that were balanced on the shelves hanging on the walls. Some of them were way up high and the staircase built on the walls needed to be ascended before getting to them. “Brina? The bright green light on the necklace had stopped shining, and it also stopped vibrating, but Liam could still feel the strange sensation that was drawing him toward the opening. He looked deeper into it, and he could see a bridge built across two cliffs. While the dog was still in the air, Liam held it on the neck with both hands, tightening his grip while the dog barked loudly, struggling to free himself from Liam’s tight grasp all to no avail. “Whoa!” Noah gasped at the sight in front of him, staring at the sight of Liam holding onto the dog with so much ease.
