Assertive

For a few seconds, no one said anything as Liam stood in front of James who maintained a smirk on his face, showcasing the wrinkles on his face that complimented the gray hairs that grew like patches on his partly black hair.

“I think we should all get seated, Gentlemen.” Nick broke the silence that was lingering in the room, gesturing to everyone to sit down.

Liam was the first to grab a seat, he pulled the black seat at the end of the table meant for the position of the CEO and sat down slowly before he rested his hands on the table, and sighed heavily.

His uneasiness lingered, and so did his curiosity and the fact that he wasn’t sure of what he was doing. He looked at the four men who slowly sat down on their seats, and he could see the looks of displeasure that were written all over the faces of James and Silas who reluctantly grabbed their seats and sat down.
