Liam was forced to stop while Circe started to walk toward him with slow but steady steps.

“I almost forgot about you.” Liam sighed softly even though he got no relief from it.

“I underestimated you, mortal,” Circe said with a smirk on her face, she turned toward the maidens who were still grunting in pain, and scoffed at them before returning her gaze to Liam.

At that moment, she became a bit wary of him and was cautious of not being attacked by him as she saw that he wielded more powers than she had imagined.

“You may have been able to defeat my maidens, Emrys. But I will be back for you when the time is right. Phaunos may have bestowed his powers on you, but that doesn’t mean that you will be as half as the conqueror he was.”

“You may be right, Circe. But that doesn’t mean that I will give up. You can try as much as you want, but I will never go back to your island with you.” Liam stood on his unshaken resolve, looking at the Enchantress who chuckled softly.
