The Ancient Book

The bright green light on the necklace had stopped shining, and it also stopped vibrating, but Liam could still feel the strange sensation that was drawing him toward the opening.

He looked deeper into it, and he could see a bridge built across two cliffs. It was made of wood, but there was no guarantee that it was still strong as the ropes attached to it were old and rusty.

“Are you going in there?” Noah asked with a nervous tone, looking at Liam who turned to look at him without saying a word.

“Emrys? I think this is a really bad idea.” Noah said at once, looking at Liam who was walking toward the bridge with slow but steady steps, looking at something that looked like a cage at the other side.

“Emrys? Wait! Listen to me!” Noah tried to call out to Liam, but he ignored him and continued walking slowly, being very careful not to fall off the bridge.
