At the end of he date, Robert drove Olivia home in his car. The night had already gone really far at the time. While in the car they both stole some really steamy glances from each other, and talked a lot of other things that had not been shared in the date. Sometimes Robert will catch himself in the middle of laughter and wonder to himself if he was really indeed ready for whatever it was he was about getting into. She would catch him in those moments, and he would return her gaze with a smile, wondering if she caught him in those moments at times. They arrived at her vicinity soon enough and Robert stepped down from the car, and then circled it to go open the door for Olivia."What a gentle man" she said, both cheeks on her face red as she blushed hard."Well, atleast I try my best to be a gentleman." He chuckled as he guided her down the vehicle. For some reason she nearly tripped down from the car, but quickly with a dash as quick as light, he caught before she would plunge int
Martha smiled dryly, feeling the little bun her hair was styled in."Umm..." She giggled in a dry tone. "I just wanted to make sure the door was locked." She held her hands together, feeling nervous for some reason. Liam walked to her, a stern look on his face."There is no need for that here. As you can see, there are more than enough guards outside to keep this place safe." He paused and looked at her suspiciously, getting even closer to her. He bent a bit so she could hear him well enough. "Look Martha, I recommended you for this job because I trust you. Don't do anything to make me lose that trust... Because it won't be a pretty sight." His tone was very low, but he was sure she heard him because the fear in her eyes didn't try to hide in anyway."Oh! Don't worry, sir. I will never do anything to lose your trust. I promise to do my job very well." She managed to say, still unable to hide the fear in her. Liam could still see it."Now, that's better." He smiled suddenly, taking fe
Robert got to the office that morning feeling whole. He had finally laid down the doubts in his heart about dating Olivia, deciding to give it a try. But it was the exact opposite for Juliet. She sat at her desk feeling very dejected and incomplete. Robert had talked to her for a while when he came in, asking how she was doing. And she wore a smile and responded "fine". She knew she wasn't fine, and it made her wonder if she would ever truly be happy. At least, seeing Robert's face had lifted her mood. But unknown to her, the feeling wasn't going to last long.It was almost lunch break. So, Juliet was surprised when she heard the elevator ding."It must be Liam... Again." She rolled her eyes as she said to herself. But to her greatest surprise, a woman walked in. Long red hair that followed behind her, beautiful curves, with baby blue eyes. She had a short black dress on, coupled with a pair of black, glittering heels. Juliet knew she didn't work at the office, but she looked awfully
"I don't know any Olivia ma'am." Nicholas started, feeling slightly confused. "I was just about to call you though. Mr Robert seems to be in a relationship with a strange woman.""Oh! You dummy. Isn't that what I'm saying? Why then did you tell me he was in love with his secretary?""That is because I thought he was. It seemed like he was treating her in a special manner. ""So who is the strange lady you saw him with?""I don't know her. I've never seen her before." He sighed, moving the mop from side to side."But she was beautiful with red hair.""Reh hair?" Sophia whispered as she thought about Olivia. "Then it has to be Olivia. She has red hair, I think.""Well, I don't know. He was talking to her just a while ago. And he did not look happy to me.""Hmm..." She sighed, her eyes squinting. "What is Robert up to?""Right now, I don't...""I wasn't talking to you, idiot." She grunted. "Call me if you see anything else.""But, ma'am Sophia. You haven't...""I haven't what? She cut in
The bus stopped right in front of Juliet. For the first time since she moved from her home town, she was wishing she had brought her car along. She stood still, while people got in to the bus quickly. Everything that was happening seemed to be pointing to Erick. And it made her miss him more. She sighed calmly and got in to the bus. She looked at the seat where she had first seen Erick. An old, homely man was setting in it, a warm smile on his face. She looked behind the seat, at the one she had settled the day she met Erick and it was surprisingly empty. She smiled and walked towards it. There, she settled, leaning her whole body weight on it as though it could suck a way all her issues. She took out her phone from her bag and dialled Erick's number."Hey." She said calmly, slightly surprised that he answered immediately. "Good evening.""How are you? You don't look too good.""Oh! How do you know that?" She chuckled, moving her head from side to side, hoping she could find him somew
"Thank you so much for walking me home, Erick." Juliet smiled calmly, her body positioned in front of her door with him standing right opposite her. "Would you like to come in for a quick drink?" "Oh, no, no." He should his head at once in decline."But why?" She asked immediately, clutching her bag in her hands."Have you forgotten about our date? Don't tell me you have already." Erick leaned forward and touched her hair gently. "All you have to do is go in and get ready. I'll be back here to pick you in roughly an hour.""Okay, sir." She smiled widely. "I'll do just that." She turned away childishly, a free and careless air to her movement. As soon as she reached for the door knob, the door gave way immediately."Welcome, sis." Mary said happily, her arms open wide in a hug."Oh! Mary, I almost forgot you were here." She said calmly with a relieved look on her face. Erick was surprised at first. But as they hugged each other, Mary waved at him freely."Is that your boyfriend?" Mary
"You know what? Something isn't clear to me." She said, moving from one side of the room to the other with her hand on her chin. "From the way he sounded, I know there's something isn't right.""How are you so sure, Sophia? You didn't even speak to him directly." Michael was on the couch, watching his woman toss from side to side impatiently. "Well, I am. Nicholas said it. He said that Robert doesn't look happy with that Olivia girl. I should have known. I didn't even notice it at the restaurant.""You know what I think? I think you're overthinking this. I mean, I know you want to take down Robert, and so do I. But we don't have to analyze his whole life.""Of course, we do. That way, we will know where to strike." Sophia sounded a bit restless, slightly angry as well. "And we have so much support, so this shouldn't be hard.""You mean that Robert's friend?""Yes. He didn't lie when he said Robert was going to be at that restaurant. Even if it came at such short notice, we were still
"You look really beautiful, Juliet." He said from across the table. "As always." He added, flashing a set of perfect, white dentition."Thank you." She replied, blushing hard. "So what would you like to have? I'll get the waiter.""Maybe a salad? I don't know because I don't really feel hungry.""You are not hungry? Why? Did you eat already?""No." She replied, her eyes moving from Erick's face to the table. "It's just lack of appetite.""But you have to eat something. I can't let you go home without taking anything." His voice was immersed in worry as he watched her closely. In his eyes, she appeared to be stressed, but she was still the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. "They serve really good stake here. I'm sure you'd like it.""Okay. Maybe a piece of stake and some salad will do." She smiled. Erick nodded at once and called for the waiter. He made their orders and the waiter left after that. "So how have you been? How's your mom?""My mom is okay. She was surprised to see t
