Chapter 136: The Dinner Date

She looked in the mirror one last time, her red lips carving in to a mysterious smile. She leaned a bit forward and stared at her sparkling, silver shoes.

"Now, this is an ensemble for a date." She pushed her hair a backwards, but it came right back, bouncing in to position at the side of her face. She smiled once more, placing a little, fancy bag on one of her arms. In her other hand was her phone. "It's 7pm already. Arghh..." She grunted. "Where is this guy? Oh my word. I really needed his to come pick me up before it's time. Curse these drivers for rent." She dialled a number immediately and placed the phone against her ear, trying as hard as she could to be patient. But he did not answer. She grunted again, feeling very frustrated as she dialled his number again.

"Where are you, Greg? I told I needed to be out of the house by this time. Where are you?" Her voice was loud and somewhat agitated.

"I'm sorry, ma. I just got caught up in traffic."
