Chapter 84

Melvis took a deep breath before finally sighing slowly. He enjoyed the scent of dew still felt in the garden courtyard of the city centre.

That day, Melvis preferred to enjoy his morning by sipping Americano coffee in the city centre because he was bored with Quen's coffee. He also chose the downtown park over the private park in the elite New Orlando neighbourhood.

"It feels good once in a while," Melvis said to himself.

He sat in the corner of the park with a cup of hot coffee. He noticed the surroundings were more diverse than the park near his neighbourhood.

"Ah, a dog, what breed? Shepherd," Melvis muttered as a dog ran up to him, picking up his toy that had rolled up next to his chair.

The dog briefly sat in front of Melvis by sticking out its tongue. The dog was friendly, and Melvis smiled back. He then noticed the old man who bowed slightly when the dog approached him.

"Looks like he's greeting you," the old man told Melvis about his friendly dog.
