Chapter 99

Two hours later, Melvis sat in the same chair. He sat in the corner seat in front of the bartender's table. He stirred his glass, which was still half filled with a cocktail.

"Mmmh," He muttered incoherently. "I don't like the way he treats me like his girlfriend," added Melvis, who muttered in such a way.

Meanwhile, the bartender was a man in his thirties. He had been wiping the same glass after glass without paying attention to the bar's surroundings where he was working. Although occasionally without Melvis' knowledge, the man glanced at Melvis.

More precisely, he glanced at Melvis's glass, which was almost empty but was not let out of the man's drunken hands.

The bartender, who understood and followed the code of conduct, immediately stopped wiping the glass. He brought some alcohol that he would use to mix the cocktail. He also prepared some ice cubes and another new glass.

"Sir, do you mind my recommendation this time?" the bartender asked politely.
