CHAPTER EIGHTY-FOUR

While she was waiting for Logan's arrival — she had thought of a thousand ways of approaching him, yet at that second she could have sworn that none of that mattered.

Not even the fact that she had begun the entire sequence pacing the length and breadth of the room with her hands resting on her waist.

Rolling her eyes to the back of her head, she stared at the man who was standing right there before her, she was trying to take steps back away from where he was as she could see that stormy gaze in his eyes.

He was looking to stay away from her and only that way would he be able to get the thought out of his mind.

When she had seen him she acted confused as she was trying to think through her next course of action, her heart was thudding heavily within her chest.

“I just want to speak to you, that is all … I need you to believe me.”

She had thought it through that minute, all through that while Josie had pondered on the right way she was going to approach the entire situation.
