CHAPTER ONE-HUNDRED

As Logan looked around, his heart thudding heavily in his chest, he noted that the vicinity had more men than the trio he had previously counted.

Who were they and why were they here, it was one question he was trying to find out.

Were they there for him, or had he been right along about the man who was right there beside him?

One look at the man and immediately he could rebuff those possibilities, he didn't know why but the man's eyes looked fearful. It was hard for him to process the thought of anything at that moment.

“They are back, Grandpa!" The girl shrieks.

“Do you know them?" Logan had asked.

“Yes, just stay in the car I would handle them” he muttered as he stepped out.

He wasn't listening to the man as he got out after him.

A soft wind breezed through the vicinity as the floor was decorated with fall flowers as he took steps behind the man.

“I told you to wait!” the man whispered.

“No way, who are they? “

He could tell McGee was scared as they approached the men.
