He waited to hear that voice again and when it did come through it was the faint voice of the man he had wanted to speak with all this while.

“Hello."

“Hello, it is I… Logan, hello?''He heard that fainting sound from the other end and when he turned to look, he found the last person he had expected to see near the phone connection, she had two separate ends of the phone wire in her hands and a wicked smirk.

He looked at her with a death stare that would have murdered anyone who was neck-deep in all of this, he was furious.

“What did you just do, are you nuts?" He had his fist clenched.

He had come halfway across the entire city right to this place, he had done all he could at the party to stay away from trouble and just when he was starting to have that bit of peace again in his mind he bumped into another-

“So you thought I'd just let you go like that?" Josie questioned. “You wish, I had my eyes all over you "

She was a devil, and if there was anything that he felt for her that ni
