Emily's fury surged as she pointed a trembling finger at Amanda.

"Didn't I warn you to mind your tongue?" Emily hissed, her voice dripping with barely contained fury.

"Caleb and I are simply friends, in case you need a reminder. We don't have that kind of relationship!" she continued, her tone firm and unwavering.

"And frankly, it's none of your concern." Her words were like a shield, deflecting Amanda's accusations with a steely resolve.

"it's really obvious what the both of you were up to last night."
