He stared at his ringing phone for a minute before answering it. It was from an unknown number and he checked it twice. His app that detected the names of callers was not working.

"Hello."

"This is Nikki. Brielle gave me your number. Sorry for calling so late."

Alex raised his brows at his wife making her stare at him in concern.

"Did something happen?" She mouthed but he shook his head, she was still not pleased with the way he was staring at her as though she had committed some heinous crime. "Are you sure?"

Realizing that he was keeping the person waiting on the other end of the call, he decided to speak. "Okay,"

"So, she briefed me about all the things that had happened earlier today. I don't know if you can schedule a meeting tomorrow by 8. am. I need to speak to you about some things." Nikki said.

"Who are you?"

"A lawyer, I just wanted to be sure that this line was actually going through. She used her cousin's phone to call me earlier." Nikki explained.
