Alex was pissed by the news he heard but decided to keep his cool. Brielle was probably trying to pass him a message that he'd not understand if he didn't keep calm. "Oh, she is? Extend my greetings." He replied sarcastically

Nikki was shocked by the way Alex answered. One would think that he'd have made it obvious that she made a move on him but he was mature enough about it. Her friend had truly won a jackpot. She concluded.

Brielle chuckled, "but can you come home a bit early tonight. I have good news for you." She replied.

Alex thought that it had a double meaning. "Will do. Have a nice day." He replied and hung up immediately. He was pissed with that lady in his house. What he didn't tell Brielle was the fact that Nikki was telling him that she was better than Brielle and had more influence to help him achieve his aim.
