Chapter 127: Order

"Order a cab, we're heading to the bar," Derek ordered immediately.

"Boss?" Thomas was stunned.

"Just do as I say." Derek turned away to check his phone.

In less than 5 minutes the cab arrived to pick them up from the middle of the highway.

They arrived at the bar with Derek quickly ordering a glass of vodka.

Settling at a table near the rear, Derek quietly sipped his drink. Thomas wanted to ask him several questions but decided against it.

Derek's gaze remained on his phone, monitoring something through a tracking device.

The moment he finished the drink, he stood up abruptly. "Come with me."

Thomas quickly settled the tab and rushed after him.

"All clear. We're heading to the Hotel." Derek approached the cab that drove them there.

Thomas was taken aback. "We've cleared out our reservation, boss."

"I need to return to check something out."
