Chapter hundred seven

Adrian had to quickly interfere, before they would take any action.

“Why are you accusing him of thievery? He didn’t steal anything, did he?” He questioned, defending Daniel.

Daniel tugged at his shirt, gently, trying to say something to him, but Adrian ignored him, having an idea of what he wanted to say.

“I don’t know if he stole something here, but for him to be here, then he is about to steal something.”

“I came with him, and I’m shopping for him, so, do not raise false alarm.” Adrian urged.

“Oh. He probably scammed you into doing this for him. What did he say is going on with him? That he needs to pay his mother’s hospital bills, or he got lost? Or he has people chasing after him? Or he has a disease?”

The man was beginning to act annoying to Adrian, and he wished he could just give him a punch, so he could keep shut.

“This young boy has changed. He does none of the things you mentioned.” Adrian tried to explain, but he was interrupted by the cops who walked into the store.
