The initiation trials were something that was done to those eligible for the crown and the leadership of the Starks. These trials were done to test or rather to build the participant in question, it tests their durability, how long they would survive in there. Although one could die in there, it was less likely to be the case, as no one in the history of the Starks had died while carrying out the initiation trials. There was a belief that says, if one was a true bloodline of Lord Stark, the founder of the Starks, then they won't die inside the trial space no matter how long they seem to stay in there. But if a person who was not a direct or true bloodline of lord Stark enters the trial space, then they would surely die. No one really knows how true this was as it had never been tested before. The initiation trials were like a game, divided into stages, with each stage designed for a different purpose, and somehow it gets tougher by each stage. As Mason stood on the step, hand still
It all seemed like a dream to Mason, he was totally shocked and confused with what was happening around him, he had only seen things like this in the movies, never had he thought that he would withness or come across something like this. Was it a kind of technology? Or was it magic ? Or witchcraft? Mason was so confused that he felt his knees weakening. Earlier when he touched the glowing exit at the top of the staircase which was written on a kind of hard material something had happened, something that left his mouth wide open even up to this moment. As soon as his palm touched the exit, the whole of his surroundings began to change right in front of him. The topography, the terrain and every other thing changed , it wasn't just a little change, it was a huge change that had made him begin to wonder if it was a kind of new technology or maybe it was magic or witchcraft. The once blue room began to varnish, huge thick trees sprouted out of the ground, in place of the blue ceiling,
The second stage of the initiation trial was one that was far more difficult than the first, it was one that involved a life and death situation, although no one in history had actually died in the second stage, no one had dealt with the red eyed beast this easily. At the bottom of a cliff, just beside a large waterfall, a boy could be seen coughing out water, his whole body drenched and soaked from the strand of hair on his head to the sole of his shoes. The water could be seen streaming past his feet as he struggled to get back to his feet, standing beside the river bank with water dripping from his body. By his left hand side was a large creature with dark furs, a pool of black blood could be seen mixing with the running water beside the beast.Streams of black blood could also be seen gushing out of its head, as its head could be seen resting at the top of a small sized rock while the rest of its body was submerged in water. Looking at the creature closely one could tell that
It's been two days since Mason started his initiation trial, even up to this moment, the young master was still very much unaware that what he was passing through right now was the initiation trial. Although he knew about the initiation, but had never heard of the trials, not like Claire, old Greg or the rest of the council would have told him what was inside the initiation Chambers if he was to know about the trials anyway. It was like a custom to them that words or rather information about the initiation trials should be kept a secret from the participants, as this was the only way to be sure that they would come out of the situation in their own capabilities. This was an old custom and since it was established it had been effective till date. Struggling past the leaves and bushes, although Mason was still strong due to the antidote he took earlier, he knew this strength wouldn't last long, so he knew he needed to be quick, Quick in finding the second antidote. He was uncertain
Passing through and dodging the dangling weird fruits wouldn't be that difficult if Mason had been at his peak condition. With dizzy eyes he was able to cross it, but then something had caught his attention immediately he got to the last fruit which somehow was larger than the rest. Its weird nature was so obvious that Mason had to stop and stare. As he looked at it, Mason's eyes widened when he made a discovery, one that had never crossed his mind since he began trying to walk through the dangling fruits. Just at the top of the giant oblong blue fruit, Mason could see a little hole, which somehow looked like it was recently made. Taking two steps further, Mason squinted his eyes and lowered his head a little so that he was now at the same level as the fruit, staring directly into the little hole.Mason could see a kind of light bluish liquid trickling out of the hole rolling down the body of the fruit. As he looked into the hole, the young master could see that there was a shiny
Standing there in front of the blue beast who had already moved, ready to attack, Mason was frightened but he knew if he didn't do anything he would be blasted away or even killed in this one attack. He was already feeling the effect of the first antidote wearing off,it was clear it's time was almost over, he needed the second antidote so bad, it was more of a life and death situation, and now was not the time to be a coward.now wasn't the time to be a hero either, it was the time to think smart.Like the saying that goes ' he who fights and run away lives to fight another day' Now was not the time to run away, because If he was to run away he wouldn't live to see the next day not to talk of fighting again. What Mason needed was a plan.So thinking fast , a quick idea popped up in the young master's head, one which he was sure would get him out of this situation. Although it was a stupid idea, one that had even made the council members outside yell at the top of their voices, but th
Lalisa had known she was pregnant for a little while now, although she had kept it to herself as she thought she was not ready to tell her lover about it for the fear of how he would take this news. Lalisa had already come to terms that marriage with Sir Fred her lover would surely not work out, he had not married her yet and was already treating her this way, she had stopped schooling because of him.He had promised to sponsor her education, but after staying with him for sometime, he had kept her in his house, not letting her go out of the space like she was some kind of prisoner . This was not the life lalisa planned for herself, she had planned to finish her education, and then become a qualified nurse, but right now those dreams seemed like they would not be coming to pass anytime soon. A dreadful thought had come to her mind and right now she was still thinking if she should go with the thought or not. It hadn't been that long since she left Mason, so Lalisa was contemplatin
Fighting was not something Mason was specialized in , he had lived most of his life being bullied by others in school and not retaliating, to the extent that he had learnt to always ignore these bullies no matter how much they tried to get to him. Not like if he was to retaliate, It would make much difference, he wasn't a fighter so he would just end up getting hurt. But somehow, recently he had been in a few fights and somehow he had triumphed. Was it luck? .Of course it wasn't luck, it was just his quick thinking, Mason was an intelligent fellow, he might not have realized this before but right now it seemed the initiation trials were actually bringing out his potential, figuring out what he was good at and putting it into proper use.He had avoided fighting all his life, always staying on his own but it seemed fighting here in this weird place he found himself was inevitable, he just had to fight if he was going to survive. As Mason stood there watching the five men in black sta
