24 hours later, Connor Woodlock was seated on the sofa, when Kelvin walked in. He walked briskly and greeted his grandpa, announcing his presence. As he turned to head for the staircase, Connor stopped him.

“We need to talk, Kelvin. It's about the recent development in the family. I'm not happy that your parents are divorced, it's very terrible news for me to take. But still, there's nothing I can do to change that." He said, and Kelvin paused and returned to the sofa.

“Everything already, grams?”

"You talk as if there's something I should know that I don't know yet." He said, and Connor paused. He smacked his lips and exhaled deeply.

“You're the strength of this family, son. Always remember that. Mind you, there are lots of things you don't know, and I wish I could tell you, but it's not that simple. I only hope that you won't get to find out. Just focus on maintaining a good legacy for our family, that's all, son.”
