Chapter 139

Inside a dark warehouse, Amara lay on the bare floor, her face was covered in blood, and her white dress had been stained with dirt mixed with blood. She lay helplessly on the floor, rolling around and hoping for an unexpected miracle.

She crawled up to a pillar standing by the left, and two men trailed her from behind, following her steps closely.

The door at the far end opened, and light shunned through the entrance.

“Look we have here," a familiar voice spoke up from a distance, and a round of applause followed suit.

“Amara Kingston. My beautiful, beautiful Amara.”

Hearing those words, she darted her eyes in the direction tiredly and saw Mark standing above her with a mocking smirk. His evil eyes pierced into her, and she began to shiver.

“You had the guts to betray me? Everything I did for you, bitch! I fed you. I picked you from the streets when you were nothing. I made you everything you are today. Yet, you ended up with Kelvin, my sworn enemy."
