On the cold winter night, Kelvin had gone out with Jake and Tommy, the new friends he made in Vancouzer. They sat comfortably in a bar, but Kelvin couldn't focus. His mind was somewhere else.

Jake noticed his quietness and realized that he wasn't having fun, and that was the main reason for coming to the bar in the first place. Jake signaled Tommy, who was carried away by the sight of a beautiful young lady beside him.

"What's up, bro?" Jake asked, but Kelvin kept mute.

"You need to start putting yourself together. Besides, Cara is alive and will be well soon," Jake continued, and Kelvin sighed and pressed his hand on his forehead.

"It's not that bro. Look, I know Cara and will be fine. What I don't know is what she'll do when she gets better. Besides, the son of a bitch that did this to her is still out there in the open. How do I know that it wasn't an attempt on her life?"

Kelvin said worriedly, and Jake nodded his head slowly. He was beginning to see things from Kelvin's view.
