Chapter 28

The black mask on Reed's head was opened as his eyes were blurry, he tried opening his eyes but all he could see was darkness. He tried standing but realized he was being tied to the chair, he started to free himself but all to no avail.

"It's useless doing that," he heard a calm voice in darkness as the lights in the room turned on. Reed's eyes met with his father's as he stared at him in malice.

"I warned you, didn't I?" His father's voice echoed in the room as Reed gulped down his saliva. He hated this man in front of him with passion but what could he do? No matter how he tried to deny the fact that it was his father standing in front of him, the harder the pain that spread through his chest.
