He took out a sharp knife and smiled, injuring his hands with the knife. Just then, he heard a loud bang on the door and someone was knocking. "Who's that?" he yelled angrily, but the person kept knocking repeatedly, not wanting to give up. Getting annoyed, Thyme walked up to the door, not forgetting to throw the knife on the couch. He opened the door and was shocked to see Lady Rose, the person knocking. "Lady Rose," he mumbled. "Why are you here?" he asked her, but was shocked to see tears streaming down her face. She hugged him, and shock was still written all over his face as he couldn't help but wonder what had happened.
She wiped her tears and smiled, saying, "Wouldn't you allow your aunt in?" she asked with a smile. "Aunt?" he questioned in his mind as he got more confused. Seeing the shock on his face, she walked in.Thyme walked in, closing the door behind him. He stared at Lady Rose's angry face and looked at what she was staring at. The knife he had thrown on the white couch was stained with a little blood. "Were you trying to hurt yourself?" she looked at him."What's wrong with this woman?" he thought and inserted his hands into his pocket. "Sorry, please why are you here?" he asked."Before I tell you why I'm here, clean this mess and let's get a drink," she placed her bag on the table. "I'm sorry, but I'm busy," he ignored her, walking to the door and opening it."Okay then, I'll leave and not tell you about your parents and past life. They are still alive, though," she picked up her bag. Thyme froze the moment she said that as he stared at her like he had seen a ghost."What did you just say?" he asked, his voice a little shaky. "Then get me a drink and let me explain to you," she sat back. Thyme was still in shock as he closed the door and walked towards her, picking up the knife. Rose just stared at him. He walked to the kitchen and came back with two soft drinks, sitting down he gave her hers. "What do you have to tell me?" he asked impatiently. She sighed, dropping the drinks and holding his hands."Firstly, I'm really happy I was able to find you. While you walked with us, I always felt a connection between us but couldn't just figure out what it was," she took a deep breath as Thyme couldn't help but wonder if she was his mother. "I am your mom's sister and I had always loved you when you were little. Your parents were kidnapped by your father's stepbrother just because of his greediness to get his company. After your grandfather died, your father's stepmom and her children planned to claim your father's company, but it all came to naught. It became worse when they would always send assassins to try killing your father. When they saw it wasn't working out, they tried another way by kidnapping them and telling the outside world they were dead. They waited for years before claiming your father's companies one by one," she stopped talking and looked at Thyme's face, which was filled with utter shock and confusion. It just seemed like he had heard a funny fairytale, Rose just continued."I have been making investigations for the past two years now. I wasn't able to help look for them all these years because I was silenced, threatened. He even had to go to the extent of killing my only son because I tried speaking out. I was a widow because my husband died in a ghastly accident. I tried reporting to the cops, but he paid them off to remain silent. He had wiped my memory off because he was still intent on making me suffer for what he had done to me. But with the help of one person, I was able to remember everything, so he thinks I still lost my memory," she smiled."Did he wipe my memory too?" Thyme asked and she nodded. Thyme tapped his feet impatiently as if he wanted to just skin this heartless man alive. "I found out a lot of things, and that's why I decided to come work for your uncle to know more," she said, and Thyme's eyes widened. "Kelvin was his uncle!" he thought, and that made him even more angry. "What!" he yelled, anger very visible in his voice. "Please, you really have to promise to stay calm and not demolish our plans. Please," she begged. Thyme calmed down a little and continued to listen to her. "We also found out your parents aren't dead, and you have a sister," she sighed sadly. "A sister," he said, pain visible in his voice as his eyes turned glassy with tears threatening to fall. "Yes, a sister. Your mom traveled out of the country to give birth to her. She never told anyone because of the troubles they were going through. When she came back, she hid the baby with their driver, who now seems to be bribed by Kelvin. But he never told Kelvin he had his boss's child with him," she explained. The aura of the room turned cold instantly as Rose could feel the anger boiling in him."You just have to calm down. We are this close to getting your parents back. He had kept your father and mother because he wanted to... I've also talked to your father's boss if he could show me your sister. He rejected, but only showed me her picture. But he has decided to help us since he's regretting his actions," she smiled. "I also have your father's old secretary who's also helping me with it," she assured him. "Do you...?" she was interrupted by him. "Can you please at least show me their picture?" he asked calmly. She brought out her phone and showed him his parents' picture first, when they had taken a picture together when he was young. Tears streamed down his face as she then showed him his sister's picture. Shock instantly covered his face as he stared at the photo. "I know her, I've seen her before, like twice, and we've spoken," he said in utter shock."You've seen her before?" Rose asked to be sure she was correct about what he had said. "Yes, she was the nurse who treated me when I was badly injured the day I found my girlfriend cheating on me," Thyme explained. "What? She's your sister!" Rose said, and new fresh tears flowed down Thyme's eyes. He couldn't believe he had seen his sister on two occasions before. "I'll kill that bastard!" Thyme railed as he stood, breathing hard. Rose immediately jerked up and held his hands. "Please, don't do this. It would ruin all that we've worked for," she begged, but that didn't seem to get through to Thyme as he walked towards the door. "Just forget about everything! If you want to get your parents killed, go confront him," she yelled angrily. Thyme halted and faced her. "Fine." He walked back to the couch and sat back, fuming in anger as he clenched his fist. Rose sighed in relief and then sat next to him."Are you sure about Rose? She keeps acting strange lately," Agnes asked him. "Yes, mot
"Who are you talking to?" he asked first. "I... I, how long have you been there?" she asked, getting scared he might have heard her. "Answer me!" he yelled, which made her flinch a little. "Yeah, so what?" she rolled her eyes. Kelvin got angry in that moment and walked up to her, strangling her neck. She tried gasping for air as she begged him to stop. After realizing what he was doing, he immediately stopped. Tears started to roll down her cheek as she spoke, still trying to catch her breath. "I hate you. You caused this upon yourself. You made all this happen to us," she cried. "Tessa isn't your real child," she dropped the bombshell, which made Kelvin dumbfounded for a few seconds. "What do you mean?" he stuttered. "You caused this! You cheated on me with a bitchy slut, and I got drunk that night after realizing that. Someone raped me, which I didn't know about until I found out weeks later. I was pregnant!" she yelled, causing shock to spread across his face. "After so many years,
This is going to be super interesting," Luna smiled to herself as she picked up her bag and walked out to the sitting room, still meeting them. She just walked past them. Thames, on seeing her, immediately realized she had been in the building for some time now. "Where are you going?" he asked. "Can't I go out again? I was in my room for an hour now, and you've been discussing with your visitors, forgetting you have a wife," she rolled her eyes afterwards, opening the door and slamming it after she was gone. "Did she hear anything? Why didn't you tell us someone else was here? We would have found somewhere more secretive," Rose complained. "I'm sure she didn't hear anything. She had been indoors since," Thames assured them as they nodded and continued to work out their plan. "Mom, Laura is really pissing me off. She's with both Bruce and Emma. I can't stand her anymore," Kelvin complained. "You just have to keep pretending. Just let her be, and let's just work out our plan well," Agne
Kelvin rushed in with his security guards behind him without even sparing her a glance. "Argh!" she screamed as she ruffled her hair. "This would be a great opportunity for me to finally get the money I want," she thought, but didn't plan to leave the place until she got what she wanted. "Please, can I come in to see Mr. Kelvin?" she spoke politely to the security guards outside. They all stared at her before bursting into laughter. She stared at them awkwardly and became pissed off by their actions, but she laughed together with them. "How can a random stranger just ask to see the richest man?" a huge security guard mocked. She frowned her eyebrows and gritted her teeth, then left the place with her face fuming in anger."So you guys have been keeping you for two weeks now, and I haven't asked for anything," Laura sat on a chair facing both Bruce and Emma. They both looked extremely weak, as if they were about to die. "What do you want from us? Just let us go and I promise you, we w
Mum, Dad," their voices cracked as they began crying. Both Bruce and Emma were confused, but in the next minute, their eyes widened in shock. They had just heard their children's voices after twenty long years! Emma slowly turned to face them, tears pouring from her eyes. The joy and happiness she felt in that moment knew no boundaries. Laura asked herself, "Wait, what does he mean by 'I'm not his real sister?'" She was still staring at the phone, thinking, "He's just mad and saying rubbish." She laughed, assuring herself, before dropping her phone and walking to the bathroom. "Now you really do need me after everything you have done, right?" the lady spoke. Mia found the voice familiar, but couldn't figure out who exactly was on the phone with her husband. "I'm sorry, Savarin, for cutting ties with you then, but please, I really do need your help with something," Kelvin begged. "Why would he be begging her?" Mia thought. She then understood when the next words came out of Savarin's
Immediately Agnes heard what he had just said, she turned to the security with her eyes wide open while Kelvin also stared at him in shock. "Does someone else know about Bruce and Emma?" he thought before turning to the man, who just stared at them in confusion. "Let her in," he ordered and the security left afterwards. "What have you done this time?" she asked him and he just sighed. "How many people know about this? I'm really worried this might not end well for us," she spoke with concern. "Well, I don't know. Laura, Daniel, my personal assistant, you, and then..." just as he was about to complete his statement, Luna came in with a wide smile across her lips. She couldn't believe she was seeing the richest man in the world so easily when others would go as far as just to see him. "He's even so cute. Should I also get him for myself?" she thought shamelessly as she kept bowing to them. "Good day," she finally raised her head. "Wow! I can't believe I'm standing here and I have the
"So who are you starting with first?" Agnes asked as Thames sat on the comfy couch."My secretary. He's been acting strangely these days," Kelvin told her."Daniel?" Agnes asked."Yes. Next is Thames. I haven't been paying him for weeks now and I think he's up to something," Kelvin said, facing his mother as she nodded.Mia packed her bags as she walked out of the room. "Ma'am, are you traveling?" Mona asked."No. I'll just be away for a while," Mia smiled and walked past her as Mona helped her with her luggage.Just as Mia was rushing out of the hallway, Laura came in with an angry look on her face. Mia walked past her without sparing her any glance, but Laura pulled her back by the arm. Mia faced Laura, who then slapped her hard across the face. Mona gasped as she watched."When I'm talking to you, you don't dare walk away from me," Laura yelled. Before she knew it, Mia had slapped her back. "You dare?" Laura exclaimed. She was about to charge towards Mia when Kelvin's voice made he
"Who?" Gorya asked immediately. "That's the problem, I can't say his name," Lisa cried out. "Why?!" she asked him. "I don't know his name and I didn't see his face, but I think..." she was interrupted when her dad appeared. She immediately stood up and went inside. Gorya stared at him, although she disliked him when she noticed him as the secretary of the man who had kept her father for a long time. She walked up to him, staring at him as he spoke, "What's she telling you?" he asked her. She just breathed out and walked out of his premises. Kelvin rushed over immediately. "His family was in danger because of him!" Thyme walked into a big restaurant. A young man walked up to him instantly. "Are you Mr. Astrian?" he asked. Thyme nodded, although he wasn't used to that name. "Alright, our boss awaits you," he led him into a room afterwards. Thyme met an old man sitting on a red long couch. He immediately stood up after seeing him. "Are you Astrian Ranford?" he asked him. Thyme nodde
